Service Description

Deep tissue massage is similar to Swedish massage, but the deeper pressure is beneficial in releasing chronic muscle tension or knots (also known as "adhesions.") The focus is on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons and fascia (the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones and joints). It works to relieve stress and tension from overworked muscles and promote good blood and oxygen circulation. This treatment uses a lot of pressure and is well suited for those that require a strong massage.
